The EDI Journey

EDI accreditation success

We know striving to improve EDI can be a complex and challenging journey, especially without understanding your starting point, or having a roadmap to your ideal destination.

Our accreditation was designed to help keep your focus on the journey by providing a clear and comprehensive picture of your starting point and a detailed roadmap to follow.

Improving EDI takes time and commitment, change doesn’t happen overnight. Becoming accrEDIted© is the first step.

To achieve EDI accreditation success your organisation must be able to show its genuine commitment, wherever you are on your journey.

We understand achieving some accreditations can be an onerous, costly and time-consuming task. So, we have designed our process to be thorough and detailed, but straight forward and affordable for organisations to complete.

FAQs

How long does it take to get accrEDIted?

It typically takes between 6 to 8 weeks, depending on the size and complexity of your organisation.

What is the duration of the accreditation?

The accreditation is valid for a period of 12 months. By renewing the accreditation, you can ensure that your progress and improvements are acknowledged each year.

How much does it cost?

Our pricing is tailored to each organisation, taking into account factors such as the turnover and workforce size. We believe in making our accreditation accessible and affordable, with prices starting from just £850+VAT.

Is there a minimum/maximum size of organisation?

No! The benefits of our accreditation are designed to benefit organisations of all sizes, large or small.

Do organisations fail?

Absolutely! Not every organisation achieves the required standard on their first attempt. For accreditation to hold true value, it must recognise only those organisations that are genuinely dedicated to equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI). We understand that getting EDI right is a journey that often requires time and practice. Yet, this journey is not solely about earning a certificate; it is about cultivating a culture that values differences and fosters a sense of belonging. Each step taken towards improvement is a stride towards a more inclusive future for everyone involved. Embrace the challenges, learn from the experiences, and celebrate the progress made along the way.

What should you do if you don’t quite meet the standard?

If you find yourself just shy of accreditation, don’t worry. Take action by making the necessary adjustments and reapply at no cost within three months. Seize this opportunity to enhance your application and achieve your goals.

How can I implement the findings from the report?

We understand how challenging it can be to identify the right solution. That’s why we have built a community of Expert Resources, offering organisations specialist services to help them achieve their EDI objectives. There is no obligation to engage with them, and we do not receive any introducer payments; they are simply available should you need assistance.
